Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients, especially polyoxyethylated castor oil (see Precautions).
Paclitaxel should not be used in patients with baseline neutrophils <1,500/mm³ (<1,000/mm³ for KS patients).
Paclitaxel is contraindicated during breastfeeding (see Use in Pregnancy & Lactation).
Paclitaxel is also contraindicated in KS patients suffering from concurrent, serious, uncontrolled infections.
